Everyone talks about essential oils for chakras, but until recently I had never really considered which supplements might be paired with each chakra. With this new thought, I sifted through some supplements for chakras, and here is what I came up with!
Since the root chakra has such earthy energy I wanted supplements that mimicked this grounded and comforting energy. Mineral Essence is an essential oil infused mineral complex drawn from beneath the earth under the Great Salt Lake. This means it is packed with a unique blend of minerals.
AgilEase is another supplement that may support the root chakra. The polarity triad of the root chakra is the knees, neck, and colon. AgilEase contains key ingredients that help bones and joints. It also contains turmeric root extract, so earthy rooted energy comes with it. Lastly, it has essential oils from some very deeply rooted trees: black spruce and frankincense.
Multigreens is the supplement for the next chakra: the sacral chakra. The sacral chakra has water energy and Multigreens contains many key ingredients from the ocean. From chorella to kelp and spirulina, this supplement is the chlorophyll injection that you need to to support the endocrine, cardiovascular, and nervous systems.
PowerGize also comes to mind for gentlemen as the key ingredient, ashwaganda, has been used in Ayurvedic practices for centuries as a way to support the male reproductive system.
Because pregnenolone is a precursor to estrogren, women may want to add PD 80/20 into their sacral chakra support routine.
The solar plexus is the seat of fire in the belly, so the first product that came to mind was one to support digestion. Essentialzyme is my favorite digestive enzyme. It has a broad spectrum that helps to digest fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. Essentialzyme also has a bilayer caplet design that allows carbs to get digested quickly while fats and proteins are digested more slowly. It also contains betaine hydrochloride which helps to put fiery acid in your belly when you need it.
The liver is an organ that can hold a lot of energy, anger, and heat, so I recommend JuvaTone which contains ingredients like choline, methionine, and Oregon grape root extract to help support the function of the liver. This supplement may be a good addition to your routine if you think that you have too much energy in your solar plexus.
The heart chakra is the seat of both outward and inward love. OmegaGize is really three supplements in one: it’s an omega-3 fatty acid fish oil supplement, vitamin D supplement, and CoQ-10 supplement. All of these ingredients help to support cardiovascular health.
MindWise also supports cardiovascular health with omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and CoQ-10, all in a vegetarian supplement.
When the throat chakra is a free and open channel the voice comes through clearly, we express ourselves with loving kindness, and we communicate with ease. Thyromin is a supplement packed with iodine, thyroid powder, and herbs that support the thyroid gland. Since the thyroid gland is located in the throat, this supplement may help to open and expand the energy of the throat chakra.
Inner Defense contains powerful essential oils that are perfect to take when seasons change. Keep the throat chakra nice and open with clove, cinnamon, oregano, and lemongrass essential oils all in this convenient gel capsule.
Third Eye Chakra
NingXia Red is an essential oil infused wolfberry drink. Because of the high concentration of zeaxanthines, NingXia helps to support normal eye health. Plus it only takes a bit each day to get the benefits.
B-vitamins are so critical to the normal function of the brain. Super B has diverse B-vitamins including B6, B9, and B12. Fun fact, the B9 is naturally occurring folate extracted from the peels of lemon skins using nothing more than water.
