Some days, I just don’t want to go to the trouble to wash, dry, and style my hair. For those days, this Lazy Day Dry Shampoo comes to my rescue. I love that I can sprinkle a little in my scalp, and like magic, it refreshes yesterday’s hair.

Mix up some dry shampoo to have on hand for your lazy days. The baking soda and arrowroot absorb oils and odors, while the essential oils nourish the scalp and hair and add a fresh fragrance. Choose the formula that works for your hair color, and go ahead and adjust the amount of cocoa powder to match the color of your hair.

For Light Hair

1/4 cup baking soda

3 tablespoons arrowroot powder

1/4 cup cocoa powder

2 drops each of: lavender, peppermint, and rosemary essential oils
